GOVERNMENT RESOURCE CENTER MODERNIZES LOGO, UPDATES BRAND IDENTITY

COLUMBUS, OH – The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC), a fast growing center for healthcare research, quality improvement, and technical assistance, is pleased to unveil a new brand identity, including a new logo.

“As our work evolves into new areas of public health, it’s time that our logo and brand reflect our updated expertise,” GRC Director Lorin Ranbom said. “While our staff experts continue to provide our state agency sponsors with quality, credible, healthcare research in current focus areas, we’re always willing to respond to change.”

New work includes the State Innovation Model Self-Evaluation, where GRC’s unparalled access to Medicaid administrative data allows its research team of experts to perform advanced analytics to inform meaningful health systems changes. It also includes Behavioral Health Redesign Evaluation that informs policymakers of improvements in access to mental health and addiction treatment services after Ohio implemented an overhaul of behavioral health services and billing processes.

GRC experts continue to work as quality improvement specialists who use innovative methods to provide healthcare professionals with effective strategies, tools, and interventions to improve the health outcomes of pregnant women and babies. This includes creating user-friendly toolkits and websites with educational resources on Gestational Diabetes Mellitus and smoking cessation.

GRC continues to survey the health status of Ohioans. The Ohio Medicaid Assessment Survey, the nation’s largest health survey, looks at health care access, utilization, and health status among Ohio’s Medicaid, Medicaid-eligible, and non-Medicaid populations.

“We are fortunate that our state agency sponsors trust us to perform quality, credible health research,” Ranbom continued. “Now, our brand will reflect our innovation and hard work.”
