The OFHS funds health services research using the Ohio Family Health Survey and the Ohio Employer Health Survey data.  Generally, this research is relevant to the health policy issues facing Ohio's state and local governments.

In order to qualify for funding, principal investigators must have a faculty or staff appointment at an  Ohio college or university.  Federal funds, which must me matched with state funds for this research, is available through an interagency agreement between the Ohio Board of Regents and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.  As state general revenue funding is limited at this time, investigators may be required to provide or raise their own matching funds for these projects.

Previously, the OFHS  has released a request for applications (RFA) to Ohio's colleges and universities to inform them of opportunities when they become available.  If you have interest in these funding opportunities, please contact us so that you can be on our e-mail list, and call us to discuss your research interests.

Reports of the funded projects for the 2008 Ohio Family Health Survey can be found here.
