Kandra Flavell Waugaman, MPA
Kandra Waugaman joined the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) in July 2026 as a Senior Project Manager. She has over 10 years of experience in leadership, program management, and quality improvement (QI). Kandra is the project manager for the AIM Maternal Safety Sepsis bundle and Ohio's Regional QI Hub project, working with the University of Toledo and The Ohio State University hubs.
Kandra has a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in Early Childhood Development and a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University. She has five years of experience working at the State of Ohio, managing QI and health research projects such as the Coverdell Stroke Program, Antipsychotic Metabolic Monitoring Performance Improvement Project, Ohio Medicaid Assessment Survey, Ohio Pregnancy Assessment Survey, and school-based initiatives. She also has experience in population health and working with managed care organizations.
Outside of work, Kandra enjoys spending time with her husband and twin girls, is an avid quilter, and volunteers with Columbus Babywearing.
