Kate Nimako, PhD

Senior Researcher

Kate is a Senior Researcher with expertise in qualitative and mixed-methods research, survey design, program evaluation, implementation research, and health communication. Her research interests focus on health disparities, cancer prevention and control, maternal and child health, and improving health outcomes through evidence-based research and stakeholder engagement. Kate has experience leading and supporting multidisciplinary research projects across study design, qualitative data collection and analysis, REDCap and Qualtrics survey development, IRB submissions, and dissemination of research findings. Prior to joining GRC, she served as a Senior Research Specialist at the OhioHealth Research Institute, where she supported clinical and translational research initiatives across multiple disciplines. Kate is passionate about translating research into practice to inform policy, improve healthcare delivery, and advance population health.
