Evaluation of Ohio’s State Opioid and Stimulant Response (SOS) 4.0 Grant

Ohio continues to work collaboratively with state and community agencies to pursue the goals outlined by Governor DeWine’s RecoveryOhio initiative to respond to Ohioans needing treatment and recovery support for opioid, stimulant and co-occurring substance use disorders.

In 2023, DBH selected GRC as the State Opioid and Stimulant Response (SOS 3.0) program evaluator. The GRC team performs evaluation, training, technical assistance, data collection, and reporting for Ohio’s SAMHSA-funded 4.0 grants. The GRC evaluation team is led by Director of Strategic Initiatives Tina Bickert, M.A., who is joined by Project Director Emelie Bailey, M.A., M.P.A.L. and Senior Research Consultant Krystel Tossone, Ph.D. The evaluation team brings over 15 years of experience leading more than 20 SAMHSA evaluations.
