Seth Adarkwah Yiadom, PhD

Seth earned his PhD in Interdisciplinary Biostatistics from The Ohio State University in 2026. His research interests include survey sampling, missing data and selection bias analysis, and clinical trials. He joined the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) in 2024 as a Graduate Research Associate (GRA) and currently serves as a Reporting and Analytics Senior Analyst contributing to key projects, including the Ohio Medicaid Assessment Survey (OMAS), Ohio Medicaid Next Generation Evaluation (MNGE), and the Alternative Payment Model Evaluation (APME).

Seth has extensive knowledge and experience in statistical and survey methodology. Before joining the GRC, he served as a statistician (GRA) on a collaborative, interdisciplinary research team at the Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research at The Ohio State University, focusing on an observational clinical study that collected data on breast cancer survivors undergoing chemotherapy.

As a student, Seth earned awards including the American Statistical Association (ASA) Students' 2025 Paper Competition and the Department of Statistics Outstanding Graduate Teaching Associate Award in 2023. He also earned accreditation as a Graduate Statistician by the ASA.

Seth received his BS in Statistics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana and his MS in Statistics from Northern Arizona University (2021) and The Ohio State University (2024). He earned his PhD in Biostatistics from The Ohio State University in 2026.
