The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) is pleased to announce Jordan Plottner, former communications director for the Ohio House of Representatives, as GRC’s director of marketing and communications.

Mr. Plottner will serve a key senior leadership role in developing and implementing GRC’s internal and external marketing activities, strategic communications, and public relations.

Prior to joining GRC, Mr. Plottner worked in the Ohio state legislature for 10 years. He began as a legislative aide and most recently served as communications director and deputy chief of staff for the Ohio House of Representatives.

“Jordan’s extensive background working in state government communications will be an immense asset to GRC and the partners we work with,” said Lorin Ranbom, Director of GRC. “We are excited to have his expertise during a time of unprecedented growth for our organization.”

Mr. Plottner graduated from Kent State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and public policy.

“I am excited to join this team of some of the most knowledgeable and dedicated health policy experts in the country,” said Plottner. “Their work with state health and academic leaders keeps Ohio on the forefront of health care innovation and research, delivering results for policymakers and driving better health care outcomes for providers and consumers.”
