Tia joined the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) in February 2018. Tia has 6+ years of pre- and post-award knowledge and experience supporting research administration, where she is serving as a Business Operations Consultant.
Tia’s professional experience at GRC includes management of progressively more complex grants and awards, which includes budgeting, proposal preparation, compliance, subcontracting, contract/agreement negotiations and progress reporting. She also works collaboratively with project teams to initiate Data Use Agreements, Data Sharing Agreements and Business Associate Agreements and serve as a liaison between Office of Legal Affairs, Office of Sponsored Programs, Technology and Commercialization and GRC for all Data Use Agreements, Data Sharing Agreements and Business Associates Agreements.
Prior to working at GRC, Tia worked in the legal field for 17 years, spending most of her career at The Jason A. Price Law Group as a Legal Assistant.
