Evelyn Quarshie joined the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center in July 2020. She is currently involved with several projects focused on quality improvement and Medicaid, including Maternal Safely, Implicit, Achieving Cardiovascular Equity (ACE) and the “Big 3” project which assesses the impact of changes to the Ohio Department of Medicaid's Managed Care program.

Before joining the GRC, Evelyn worked with Buckeye Health plan as a data analyst and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services as an epidemiologist. Her work focused on population health and maternal child health. Her prior experience also includes work on chronic disease and infectious disease epidemiology.

Evelyn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana, as well as a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public Health through the University of Toledo.
