Join us for this free event! The Ohio Collaborative to Prevent Infant Mortality is hosting the 2016 Infant Mortality Summit on December 5-6, 2016 at the Cleveland Convention center.

Ohio, like other states and the nation as a whole, experiences significant disparities in birth outcomes between whites and African Americans. In 2014, there were 14.3 black infant deaths per 1,000 live births, this is over twice as high as the white infant death rate of 5.3. Ohio’s goal is to reach the Healthy People 2020 Objective of a 6.0 Infant Mortality Rate or lower in every race and ethnicity group.

Join us as we come together as a community to improve infant mortality in Ohio. Register here and follow along on social media at #IMSummitOH.
