On July 26, colleagues, friends, and family gathered at the VUE Columbus to celebrate Lorin Ranbom's retirement after a remarkable 16-year tenure leading the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC). Everyone in attendance enjoyed good company, delicious hors d'oeuvres, refreshing cocktails, and a scrolling PowerPoint presentation showcasing Lorin’s achievements and memorable moments.
Lorin, ever humble, was quick to share the spotlight with others, reflecting his true character. New GRC Director, Dr. Gil Liu, conveyed heartfelt gratitude for Lorin’s exceptional service and emphasized the profound impact GRC has had on the health and well-being of Ohio’s citizens. Dr. Liu presented Lorin with personal farewell gifts on behalf of senior leadership, while staff took the opportunity to express their personal gratitude and share cherished memories with Lorin throughout the evening.
GRC is grateful for Lorin’s incredible service and leadership. He will be greatly missed, and we wish him all the best in his retirement!
