Allison joined the GRC in September, 2010 and is responsible for providing program oversight and quality improvement (QI) expertise to multiple maternal and child health projects, which includes designing, developing, testing, sustaining, scaling and disseminating effective evidence-based interventions in Ohio’s healthcare delivery system in collaboration with colleges, universities and project sponsors. Ms. Lorenz is also responsible for evaluating program effectiveness through QI data and providing strategic recommendations to internal and external clients regarding future efforts. She has presented and published on topics including QI science, performance measurement, and reproductive health.
Ms. Lorenz has previously worked in state government in both Indiana and Ohio. She received her MPA in Policy Analysis from Indiana University, and completed one year of post graduate work in Sociology at Bowling Green State University. Ms. Lorenz is also certified in Six Sigma, LEAN tool awareness, and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Model for Improvement.
