Anna joined the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) as a Senior Researcher in May 2023. Her expertise is in quantitative and mixed-methods research methodologies, and her research interests include population health, health policy, and patient health outcomes. Anna’s current work focuses on mixed-method study design, survey instrument development, and analyses of survey and administrative data for research projects sponsored by the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM).
Prior to joining the GRC, Anna was a Research Associate at The Ohio State University (OSU) College of Public Health, contributing to a mixed-methods study of how women with elevated risk for breast cancer make prevention decisions and manage their risk. Previously, she served as an Associate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Surgery, providing research support and project management assistance for VA- and NIH-funded studies involving obesity treatment and bariatric surgery outcomes. Anna received her Ph.D. in Sociology at the Ohio State University in 2019.
