Katherine joined the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) in January 2019. Katherine serves as a project manager for the Diabetes Quality Improvement Project and also works on the Hypertension Quality Improvement Project. Katherine received her Master of Public Health from The Ohio State University with a specialization in Health Behavior and Health Promotion. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.
Most recently Katherine spent 2 years serving as a Public Health Consultant at the Ohio Department of Health for the Help Me Grow Home Visiting Program. In her role, Katherine oversaw all Quality Improvement initiatives conducted with local home visiting providers around the state. She has experience working with both state and federal partners on Quality Improvement initiatives. Prior to the Ohio Department of Health, Katherine worked for Nationwide Children’s Hospital as a Quality Improvement Coordinator for a specialty clinic. Katherine has experience and interest in implementing projects related to maternal and child health and infectious diseases.
