Michael Nau is the Assistant Director of Applied Research and Analysis at GRC. He leads the Health and Social Sciences research section, which specializes in mixed methods research strategies to leverage the combined power of qualitative, survey, and administrative data. Since joining GRC in 2016, he has served as a principal investigator for a variety of projects sponsored by the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), Ohio Department of Aging (ODA), Ohio Department of Health (ODH), and Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC).
Michael received his Ph.D. in Sociology at the Ohio State University in 2016. His current research interests include population health, health services, organizational behavior, public policy, social stratification, and research methods.
