Tina Bickert joined GRC in April 2017. She is an accomplished public service professional with over 25 years of experience in public health and child protective services. Previously she worked at the Ohio Department of Health, most recently as Section Chief in the Bureau of Health Services, with over 25 staff focused on improving access to recommended cancer screenings and preventive services, and reducing morbidity and mortality related to violence, accidents, and overdose.

Tina received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wright State University, a Master’s in Conflict Resolution from Antioch University McGregor, and a Master of Public Administration and Leadership degree from The Ohio State University John Glenn College of Public Affairs.

Much of Tina’s public service career has been dedicated to improving outcomes for underserved populations. Since joining GRC, her work focuses on improved access to healthcare and outcomes for vulnerable Ohioans experiencing chronic disease, behavioral health, and substance use disorders. As an Assistant Director, Principal Investigator (PI), and member of the Leadership Team, she advances the mission of GRC through innovative and inclusive approaches to health policy research, evaluation, and workforce development projects.
