Yoshie joined GRC in August 2017 and works on the Ohio Medicaid Assessment Survey and the Infant Mortality Research Partnership.
Yoshie has a strong interest in policy analysis and research to improve the livelihoods of vulnerable and disadvantaged populations. Prior to joining GRC, Yoshie served as an intern in the Division of Fiscal Management at Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) where she created forecasts and tracked the agency’s fund cash balances and budget utilization. She also assisted program managers with analyses of consumer program retention rates to better understand consumer behavior and paths that lead to positive employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities in Ohio.
Yoshie has a B.A. in International Studies with a specialization in development from The Ohio State University and a M.S. in Applied Economics from the University of North Dakota.
