The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) today announced the hiring of Lori Blum as the organization’s finance manager.

Blum most recently served as senior research administrator for The Ohio State University’s (OSU) College of Social Work, where she assisted principal investigators with the planning, preparation and submission of grant and contract proposals.

“We’re excited to welcome Lori to GRC and look forward to drawing on her expertise and experience to enhance our operations,” said Heather Reed Robinson, associate director of GRC. “She’ll join a strong team of finance professionals who embody our values of quality, support and service.”

Prior to the College of Social Work, Blum managed the Wexner Medical Center’s grants and contracts for the Department of Internal Medicine. She’s also held fiscal positions at OSU’s College of Education & Human Ecology and the College of Food, Agriculture & Environmental Sciences.

“I am thrilled to be a part of such a smart and committed team of health policy experts,” said Blum. “I look forward to contributing to the continued success of GRC and our state and academic partners.”

Prior to her public service, Blum managed corporate relationships and commercial leasing for area financial institutions in Central Ohio.

Blum brings close to two decades of financial expertise to GRC and holds her Master of Business Administration from the Fisher College of Business at OSU.
