University of Toledo HCA Medical Student Receives National Leadership Award for Rural Health Outreach

TOLEDO, Ohio – Congratulations to Hallie Foster, a Healthcare Access Initiative participant and third-year medical student, for winning the 2016 Student Leadership Award from the National Rural Health Association (NRHA). Foster is a student constituency group board member with the NRHA. She received the award for her work expanding mentoring possibilities through the development of a student-alumni network in the group.
