Aimee joined GRC as a graduate research assistant in 2017 and as a full time staff member in 2018. She primarily works in the behavioral health and addiction space, and specializes in measure development and construction, administrative data linkage and management, analytics, and quality improvement. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Public Health (2017) and a Masters of Public Health Epidemiology (2018), both from The Ohio State University.
Aimee was drawn to GRC because she is fascinated by the unique role that policy plays in shaping the environment that contributes to disparities and poor health outcomes, while serving as a critical lever to address inequity and improve health and wellbeing for all. She finds excitement and hope in the idea that time spent thinking creatively and coding carefully can contribute to evidence based policy and decision-making. Her personal interests include spending time outdoors, cooking, and reading.
