OhioMHAS has selected The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) as the State Opioid and Stimulant Response (SOS 3.0) program evaluator. The GRC team will perform evaluation, training, data collection and reporting for Ohio’s SOS 3.0 federal grant. GRC is a public university-based center for health policy, research, and technical assistance located at The Ohio State University Medical Center under the academic unit of the Office of Health Sciences in the College of Medicine.

The GRC evaluator team will be led by Assistant Director of Program Design, Implementation and Evaluation Tina Bickert, M.A., who will be joined by Project Director Emelie Bailey, M.A., and Senior Research Consultant Krystel Tossone, Ph.D. The team brings 15 years of experience leading 20 SAMHSA evaluations. GRC previously collaborated with OhioMHAS on the Ohio Medicaid Assessment Survey (OMAS) and conducted an evaluation of the department’s implementation of the peer support certification, which was published in a peer reviewed journal.
