Current Open Positions

Research Analytics Consultant (HS) (R100187): The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Reporting and Analytics Consultant position. A successful applicant will engage in applied health services and population health research in a project-based, team setting. The successful candidate will be able to lead survey and/or mixed methods (i.e. blended survey and qualitative) research projects. (full details included in the linked description).

Senior Project Manager (R106443): The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage various survey, qualitative, and mixed methods research, and evaluation projects for the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center. Position responsibilities include coordinating the research and administrative efforts of project team members; managing relationships with project sponsors and external partners; drafting technical reports and stakeholder communications; providing subject matter expertise on health policy and/or quality improvement projects; and project development, including grant and proposal writing, among other activities (additional details included in “Responsibilities (Duties)” section below). The Senior Project Manager responsibilities may include project-related research and technical assistance, including literature reviews, qualitative interview facilitation, survey and interview instrument design and testing, and basic data analysis (dependent on project needs and proficiency with data analysis software, including Excel, creation of charts and graphs, calculating basic descriptive statistics, etc.). Senior Research Analytics Specialist (R106459): The Senior Research Analytics Specialist within The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) will engage in work designated as quality improvement or applied health services and population health research in a team-oriented and project-based setting. Responsibilities are project-specific and may include combinations of the following: assists with or leads data analysis and measure construction using electronic health record (EHR) data, administrative data such as Medicaid claims, or population health survey data; assists with or leads development and maintenance of advanced interactive data visualizations using R Shiny and/or Tableau; composes reports, whitepapers, and presentation materials; presents results to team members and other audiences; reviews work products from subcontractors; conducts literature searches and literature reviews; assists with the development of protocols and the composition of institutional review board (IRB) applications; and designs data collection instruments including questionnaires and clinical data collection forms. Project Director (R108481): The Project Director will direct, lead, promote and administer applied health policy research initiatives for the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC). The Project Director will design, implement, and lead evaluation, workforce development, and technical assistance projects for state-sponsored efforts and provide subject matter expertise on health policy, research design and interpretation, and program implementation. Project responsibilities include maintaining relationships with project sponsors and partners, as well as building new partner relationships; leading the development and execution of project goals and activities; guiding the activities of project teams, including project managers, researchers, consultants, and subcontractors; providing professional development and coaching to direct reports and project team members; project development, including grant and proposal writing, and directing qualitative and quantitative health policy research projects. Additionally, the selected candidate will serve as a member of the GRC Leadership Team, supervise project management staff, and may serve as a Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator for selected projects.
