Elaina Gonsoroski, PhD
Elaina joined the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center in 2026. Currently, she is supporting the QI Hub project. Elaina’s previous positions included working as a Performance Analyst with the Ohio Auditor of State and as a Research Scientist with the NASA SERVIR Program at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Elaina holds a BS in Public Health from Ohio State University and an MS and PhD in Geography from Florida State University. Her research has focused on quantitative approaches to understand how the environment impacts health. She has published and worked collaboratively on topics such as how indoor heat conditions impact summertime emergency calls in New York City and how disasters such as hurricanes can affect maternal health.
