Jordan Plottner
Jordan Plottner is the Associate Director of the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC), where he directs the strategic operations, organizational development, and large-scale coalition building driving healthcare innovation across Ohio.
In this executive role, he aligns complex institutional goals with statewide stakeholder needs to elevate operational performance and public impact. With close to two decades of public service and executive leadership experience, Jordan excels at navigating complex institutional ecosystems and transforming high-level strategy into execution.
Prior to his role at GRC, he established his reputation as a high-impact operational strategist while serving as Chief of Staff in the Ohio House of Representatives. In this capacity, he administered sweeping legal, policy, HR, and communication operations, providing critical counsel to leadership and managing stakeholder dynamics among diverse coalitions of staff and elected officials. His extensive background also includes senior legislative roles as Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director.
A lifelong Ohioan with a rich appreciation for the state's history and culture, Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Policy from Kent State University. His professional approach is heavily informed by his “People First” philosophy and interest in communication science, behavioral economics, and industrial psychology— fields that mirror his passion for understanding what motivates and empowers people. Outside of his executive portfolio, he enjoys cooking, playing music, seeking out new experiences, and celebrating any holiday that exists, alongside spending time with his family.
