About OAK

The Outcomes Acceleration for Kids (OAK) Learning Network seeks to improve the health and wellbeing of Ohio's pediatric population by transforming care delivery to meet patients' needs and connecting regional partners to identify best practices in promoting health care fairness. Since Ohio continues to fall in the bottom half of state child health rankings, OAK intends to accelerate health care quality improvement by placing families' needs at the center of health care process redesign.

OAK's learning networks, which are groups of healthcare professionals and providers that use best practices to improve quality of care, also include families, managed care organizations, community partnerships, and other resources to provide comprehensive services necessary for better outcomes.

The GRC provides focus measure processing, data management, reporting, and technical assistance to the OAK project. OAK focus measure development and reporting support statewide quality improvement efforts, while measure development, data management, analysis, and reporting support health system quality improvement projects.
