Comprehensive Maternal Care (CMC) Analytics

Ohio’s Comprehensive Maternal Care (CMC) program, led by the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), partners with maternal care practices to strengthen patient-centered care for Medicaid members, with a focus on prevention, care coordination, and improved access. CMC is a community-based, statewide program aimed at improving the health and well-being of moms, infants, and families.

GRC will engage in data analytics and technical assistance related to the Comprehensive Maternal Care program model of care, including developing and producing clinical quality measures, patient attribution and risk stratification, and assisting with tracking health and program outcomes over time.

The specific purpose of the CMC Analytics project is to develop, validate, and maintain clinical quality measures aligned with program objectives, develop an attribution methodology aligned with program objectives, produce monthly attribution files for program administration, and provide general technical assistance with the CMC program as requested by ODM related to Medicaid data, payment mechanisms, and ODM’s population health strategy.
